The fun way to teach children about money
The Hoard Book
Empower your child for the future - while keeping their childhood carefree

'Can highly recommend, our 6 year old is loving it'
'I’d recommend Taj and The Hoard Book to all parents'

Less than half of children are taught about money at home or school, yet giving children a financial education makes them more likely to save more, feel more confident, and have more positive day to day money management skills such as shopping around.

The Hoard Book is engaging, fun, and will give your child a solid financial foundation.

The Hoard Book workbook is available here.

The Hoard Book is the fun way to teach children aged 5-9 about money. Each chapter has a letter from Taj the young dragon as he goes on his journey setting up his own hoard and learning about spending, saving, budgeting, investment and more. Each letter also comes with an educational page from Taj's very own Hoard Book, where he learns all about money, and at least 4 pages of activities, craft and colouring.

"Both my children have enjoyed working through the book and learning about the concepts it contains. We’ve also had a look at some of the free resources on The Hoard Book’s website which has a wealth of information and support to help teach children about money. I’d recommend Taj and The Hoard Book to all parents. It’s a book some young adults would benefit from reading too!"

Our Story

We set up The Hoard Book as a fun way to teach our own children about money, and then decided to share it with everyone else. We believe that teaching children about money early sets them up to make good financial decisions as they get older and prepares them for being financially independent adults. The Hoard Book follows a young dragon, Taj, as he creates his own first Hoard, and learns all about money on the way. The Hoard Book teaches children about concepts such as saving, loans, and investments in a fun way that lets them understand the underlying concepts behind these financial terms.
Every issue of The Hoard Book has been checked over and edited by a chartered accountant, with over 15 years working in finance
